Vonage is an API with a fee per message. CCX is a platform with one price per message
Vonage adds a platform fee, set by country and category, to Meta's rate on every delivered message, with no monthly fee. CCX publishes one all-in price per message and a monthly plan that covers the platform. To a US number, Vonage's total is lower; what changes is everything around the API.
Vonage's Messages API is a developer product: one API for WhatsApp and other channels, paid per delivered message, with support plans sold separately. For a team that builds its own experience on top of an API, that is the expected model. For an operation that needs the inbox, campaigns, journeys and an AI agent ready to use, under one plan, the comparison is broader than the fee.
The price per message, side by side
Vonage charges Meta's rate plus its own platform fee on each delivered message, from a table by country and category, effective October 1, 2026. For a utility template to a US number, that is Meta's $0.0034 plus Vonage's $0.00219, $0.00559 in total; CCX's all-in price for the same message is US$0.0084, on every plan. Vonage notes that the fee adjusts by volume and region.
Vonage has no monthly fee for the API, while our plans start at US$39 a month and include the platform. Its included support is business hours on a best-effort basis; plans with service levels start at $350 a month for Essentials and reach $1,650 for Premium. On message cost alone, Vonage comes out ahead to the US; add the support you need and what you would build on top.

Does Vonage charge for messages you receive?
No. Vonage says inbound messages from users to your business are always free. CCX doesn't charge for them either.
Is Vonage's WhatsApp price all-in?
No. Vonage's WhatsApp price has two parts: Meta's rate, which Vonage sends you to Meta for, and Vonage's platform fee, which it publishes by country and category. CCX publishes one all-in price per message: US$0.0084 for a utility template to a US number.
How much does Vonage support cost?
Standard support is included, in business hours and on a best-effort basis. Essentials costs $350 a month, Premium $1,650 and Enterprise $5,500, with longer hours and service levels. At CCX, support from the team that runs the platform comes with every plan.
How does moving the number work?
The number is yours and stays yours: what changes is which platform answers for it at Meta. You connect it through Meta's own signup flow, and we walk through the migration with you.
