Two different bills, not two prices

Zenvia bills the WhatsApp template inside a channel package and software use in Interactionz; CCX bills a monthly fee and the message sent. Compare only the template price and half the bill is missing.

Zenvia is a Brazilian company, and outside Brazil it sells the same product through an international plan priced in US dollars. The difference is in how the bill is assembled: four line items (software plan, setup, channel package and Interactionz), with Interactionz counted per 24-hour window on top of the template price.

The price, and what it measures

The international Zenvia plans run at $0, $130, $390 and $845 per month. Its table lists a first-month setup fee of $137, $421 or $842 depending on the plan, waived by a promotion when we checked, and WhatsApp templates charged per send, from $0.0463 to $0.0396 depending on the channel package. CCX publishes its monthly fee and one all-in price per message, with no setup fee.

The template is only one line. On top of it come the software plan and Interactionz: interaction credits in the software, each lasting 24 hours from when it opens, billed separately once you pass what the plan includes. A broadcast the customer never answers does not count as an Interactionz. Worth simulating with your real pattern.

When Zenvia is the right call

  • You work alone, and the Starter plan, at $0 a month with one user, covers your use of the software.
  • You already use other Zenvia products and want a single vendor.
  • You prefer a channel package at a fixed monthly amount over a rate metered by volume.

When CCX is the right call

  • You want two items on the bill, the platform monthly fee and the price per message, instead of four, with no setup fee and no charge for using the inbox.
  • Your team is bigger than one person: here the inbox has no per-user fee on any plan, where Zenvia charges $22 to $53 per extra user.
  • You want a published price for each template category and country, instead of one blended price per send.
  • You want to start without a setup fee.

About moving off Zenvia

Want to compare it with your invoice? Talk to us and we will redo the math with your usage pattern.

What counts per 24 hours at Zenvia?

Interactionz. Each one lasts 24 hours from when it opens, and it is the software's unit of consumption. The WhatsApp template is billed per send, separately, at the channel package price.

Does Zenvia charge setup?

The published international table lists a first-month setup fee of $137, $421 or $842, depending on the plan; when we checked, a promotion was waiving it. CCX has no setup fee.

What are Interactionz?

It is the consumption unit of the Zenvia software, billed per interaction beyond what the plan includes, separate from the channel rate. In practice it is a third item on the bill, on top of the plan and the message package.

Does Zenvia price each template category?

No. The published table gives one price per send for any template category. That is a presentation choice, not an error. At CCX, utility and marketing have different prices, published for each country.
